On this day, students and staff may contribute $2.00 to support Crusader Volleyball and wear Relaxed Dress Code.

No classes due to staff professional development day.
During our morning session, faculty will receive annual anaphylaxis training and information to support students covered under the United Referral and Intake System (URIS). In addition, we will begin our work with a new instructional model, The Art and Science of Teaching, by Robert Marzano. Our faculty will spend the school year learning about this model, developing a common language of instruction, and engaging in focused practice and feedback in the area of teaching and learning. For our afternoon session, faculty will travel to the Holy Names House of Peace to work with Sister Lesley Sacouman as part of our commitment to ongoing faith development at St. Paul's.
Carpool Information Available
Information from Carpool Forms has been collated in the Front Office and is available to parents interested in making carpool arrangements with other families. Parents are welcome to come into the school to view carpool information. Our Receptionist, Ms Sandra Caron has the information and can assist you with the process.
What a great start to the 2015–16 school year! The Parent Guild is absolutely thrilled with the enthusiasm shown by students, staff, and parents at SPHS. It makes the efforts of our volunteers especially gratifying.
We are still looking for parents to get involved with the Guild. If you are feeling more settled and organized, and would like to explore an opportunity or two, please (with sugar on top) do so. The Guild has reopened its Online Volunteer Survey. You can use the Parent Guild List of Events & Activities to guide your choices. Wednesday, 23 September: Late Start
We will follow Schedule 3 to accommodate meetings in academic departments. The warning bell will sound at 9:15 am and period 1 will start five minutes later.
Thursday, 24 September: Annual Walk
On Thursday, 24 September, students from St. Paul’s, St. Mary’s Academy and Balmoral Hall School will participate in the 38th Annual Walk to raise funds for The Terry Fox Foundation. The St. Paul’s Student Council has been hard at work over the summer preparing for a fun filled day. By now, your son should have brought home a letter that gives a brief overview of the day and includes a pledge form for those who wish to raise funds for The Terry Fox Foundation. All students are required to submit to an $8.00 fee to their MGM teachers by Monday, 21 September. The flat fee will cover the cost of refreshments along the walk route (candy, ice cream, etc.) as well as entertainment and activities throughout the day. The flat fee can be paid by cash or a cheque made payable to ‘St. Paul’s High School’. Food will be available to be purchased on site from food trucks and/or the cafeteria for an additional fee. The Student Council will also be selling commemorative long sleeved t-shirts at The Walk for $20. Those students who have raised $75 or more in pledges for the Terry Fox Foundation will receive a complimentary shirt.

Friday, 25 September: Grade 12 Bake Sale
Our first bake sale is scheduled on Friday, 25 September. Parents of Grade 12 students are asked to bring baked goods to the Reception Desk on the Friday morning. Thank-you in advance for contributing baked goods.

NOTE: 4x6 postcards with online PROOFCODES were distributed to all students on picture day. For those who may have misplaced or did not receive this postcard, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to be issued a new PROOFCODE. Please be sure to indicate the school name, student's name and grade with your request.
The ORDER DUE DATE for your school photos is Friday, September 25. Orders will begin going into production shortly thereafter. Orders received after the due date will continue to be processed as they are received and every attempt will be made to include them in the main shipment of photo packages that will be sent back to the school. Those late orders that miss the first shipment will be sent to the school later in the fall with retake photo packages. Orders placed after retake day will be shipped directly to families (postage charges apply).
RETAKES: Students and staff who missed school picture day will be automatically added to the retake list. All other staff/students who would like a retake must order the "Request a Retake" package ($0) in advance using their online PROOFCODE.
