From the Parent Guild
“How did it get so late so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon? ~ Dr. Seuss
Is it really possible that the 2016–17 school year is almost over? For the Parent Guild, time has definitely “flewn.” As we wrap up spring, we would like to recognize several outstanding volunteers:
As we head into summer and the 2017–18 school year, we have a few reminders to share:
The Parent Guild wishes all members of the SPHS Community the very best during this busy time of year. For those who are writing exams, remember what Allan Dare Pearce had to say: “Tests ain't fair. Those that study have an unfair advantage. It's always been that way.”
Congratulations Robert Havelka!
Over the May long-weekend, Robert Havelka '18 placed 1st in the U17 Men's Sabre at the Western Canadian Fencing Championship in Calgary. Congratulations, Robert! Robert is on the left in the picture below.
