Wednesday, 1: June Exemption Notifications
Students will receive exemption reports at the end of the school day on Wednesday, 1 June. Students earning multiple exemptions MAY be excused from attending review classes on Thursday, 2 June through Monday, 6 June inclusive. Each student will receive an individualized report indicating numbers of earned exemptions and whether or not review day attendance is required.
Students required to attend review classes will be in classes for full days as usual. Those excused from review days may choose to attend review classes in courses in which they are required to write exams.
Warm Weather Dress Code remains in effect during review days and exams.
Early Dismissal: Friday, 3 June
Students will be dismissed at 2:25 pm to accommodate a year-end Mass for staff. Schedule 2 is in effect.

Senior Bowl Game
The following graduating Crusader Football players will represent St. Paul’s one last time in the 16th Annual Senior Bowl game on Saturday, 28 May. Kick-off is set for 1:00 p.m. @ IG Field with tickets for only $5.00. Good luck to: Robert Lussier, Milo Karahalios, Matthew Rabb, Aleksei Minarik, Jacob Stevens, Cole Zadro, and Tommy Semchyshyn.
Congratulations Mathieu Lavoie!
Congratulation to Mathieu Lavoie and his teammates on winning the U16 Provincial Volleyball Championship on May 8. In addition, Mathieu was the recipient of the Most Valuable Player Award for the tournament.
Early Dismissal: Friday, 20 May
Students will be dismissed at 11:45 am. Students are expected to attend classes during the morning even if they have only one or two classes due to study periods or spares. Parents are asked to cooperate with the school by ensuring their child attends morning classes so that we may offer a meaningful educational experience during and so that we may all enjoy an early start to the long weekend. Grade 9 Students will be dismissed from the University of Manitoba around 1:30 pm due to their participation in the St. Paul's High School Track and Field Meet. Winnipeg Transit has been notified of our early dismissal and will provide bus service shortly after students are dismissed for the day.
No School, Victoria Day: Monday, 23 May
There are no classes on this day.
Early Dismissal: Tuesday, 17 May
Students will be dismissed at 2:25 pm to accommodate a staff meeting. Schedule 2 is in effect.
Green Day for Mental Health Awareness: Thursday, 19 May
Students and staff are welcome to wear green to help raise awareness about mental health. To qualify, the top worn must have green as the dominant color (t-shirts, polos, collared shirts are acceptable). There is no cost to participate.
Grade 9 Track & Field Meet: Friday, 20 May
All Grade 9 students will be participating in the St. Paul's Track and Field meet held at the University of Manitoba - Pan Am Stadium-outdoor track.

El Salvador Dinner
The El Salvador fundraising dinner will take place in Murray Hall on Monday, 9 May. Doors open at 6:00pm and dinner will be served at 6:30pm. Entertainment and a silent auction will be provided. Parking will be available in the Student Parking Lot off Bower Blvd.
Evening of Performing and Visual Arts: Wednesday, 11 May
Please join our community for an evening of Performing and Visual Arts. Student artwork will be on display, and all of our school bands and choir will perform a wonderful selection of music. A sliver collection will take place with funds going to support our Music Program. The evening begins at 7:00pm and will be held in the Paul Albrechtsen MultiPlex. Arrive early to view the artwork on display. Parking will be available in the MultiPlex parking lot off Holland Blvd.
Congratulations Mr McMillan!
Mr Jeff McMillan (Pictured Left) was recognized by his former student, Robert Schmidt ‘09 (Pictured Middle), as a teacher who made a positive impact on his learning and decision about his University studies. This June, Robert Schmidt is graduating from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Medicine. Robert credits Mr McMillan for for his excellence in teaching Physical Education and Health, and for his support and encouragement through coaching Cross Country Running and Track at St. Paul's. Mr McMillan received this recognition at the 24th Annual Students' Teacher Recognition reception at the University of Manitoba held on May 3.
Hockey Manitoba News
Recently, Hockey Manitoba announced the Under-16 & Under-18 rosters for the Program of Excellence (POE) TOP-40 Camp to be held May 12–15, 2016 in Portage La Prairie at PCU Centre. Several St. Paul's students have been selected to participate in POE Camp. Congratulations to the following Grade 9 students on earning this recognition.

Congratulations to Ivan Tsang '16 who recently participated in the Manitoba Provincial Championships Open tournament in Badminton. Ivan won the Men Singles (B) title and Men Doubles (C) title.
