Grade 9 and 10 Parents Information Evening
Given the critical role of parents in their son’s education and formation, we believe it is important that parents understand what we are trying to accomplish at St. Paul’s in our education program. We believe that we can improve on the collaboration and partnership in educating your sons while they are at St Paul’s High School. The meetings will also include information from the Counselling Department on the elective course selection process for the 2015–2016 school year.
Grade 11 Parents Information Evening
An information evening is planned to explain the elective course selection process for the 2015–2016 school year. While the meeting is not mandatory, parents are strongly encouraged to attend given this is the final year prior to post-secondary studies. By attending this session, parents may help their sons make informed decisions with course selection for their Grade 12 year.

All Grade 11 students will attend U of M Info Day during the school day on Friday, 20. If any Grade 12 students would like to attend again this year they should speak with their counsellor first to be granted permission. If you have any questions regarding Info Days contact Mr Dainard.
Term 2 Service Hour Requirements
This term your son is required to make two written reflections. The first is due on March 10 and the second on May 5. Each reflection is answered using two well written paragraphs.
As in the first term, students will undergo evaluation by their placement supervisors. This form is to be completed by the student and their supervisor, signed by a parent, and submitted to the Christian Service Office by the final deadline for submitting hours on 5 May.
In order to qualify for an exemption in Religion, a student must have a minimum of 80% on their Christian Service Component. This policy is to motivate students to honour the posted deadlines for submitting hours and reflection responses.
Recently, each student in the Christian Service Program was required to submit an evaluation of his performance so far this year. The evaluation included comments from the supervisors at the placements where students complete their service. The number of positive comments received for the excellent work our students are doing in their communities is impressive. View comments.
