The sequence of class periods will be altered, as shown above, to accommodate students writing the Grade 11 English Exam which will be written during the afternoon from 1:15–3:15pm.
Crusader Raffle Dress Code Incentive: 16–22 January
Students who met this week's deadline for selling and returning all of their tickets will have the privilege of wearing relaxed dress code for five school days.
The first day of the dress code incentive is Tuesday, 16 January and continues through 17, 18, 19, and 22 January. Each qualifying student needs to obtain a dress code sticker from the Advancement Office each morning before school in order to participate.

The next seller incentive prize draw is for a game console and will be drawn at the Crusader raffle pep rally on Friday, 9 February. This is also the date of the Crusader Raffle Draw for all raffle prizes. The names of Crusader Raffle prize winners will be published on our public website on Friday, 9 February following the draw.
Information Evening/Open House: Wednesday, 17 January
St. Paul's will host our annual Information Evening/Open House for prospective students and parents on Wednesday, 17 January, 7pm, in the MultiPlex. Parking will be available in both the Student Parking Lot off Bower Blvd. and the MultiPlex Parking Lot off Holland Blvd.
Many current students will be involved in the evening to welcome new families to provide music, speeches, tours of the school, and to promote our extracurricular program.
Please encourage friends and family with eligible sons to join us to experience our school community first-hand.
Grade 12 Bake Sale: Wednesday is also a designated bake sale for grade twelve families. Please bring baked goods to the Reception Desk on the Wednesday morning. Baked goods will be sold in the Cafeteria at lunch and made available during the Open House reception later that evening. Thank-you in advance for contributing baked goods.
Late Start: Thursday, 18 January
As all faculty and many students will be participating in our Information Evening the night before, we will have a late start on Thursday, 18 January. Period 1 begins at 9:20am (Warning Bell: 9:15am). Schedule 3 is in effect.

The sequence of class periods will be altered, as shown above, to accommodate students writing the Grade 11 Canadian History Exam which will be written during the afternoon from 12:25–2:25pm.
In addition, we will follow Schedule 2 to facilitate a staff liturgy. Period 6 ends at 2:25 pm. Winnipeg Transit has been notified of the early dismissal and a charter will be provided after dismissal time.

Powerschool Student/Parent Portal and Mobile App
The Powerschool Portal and Mobile App will be unavailable during the exam period while exams are being graded and term marks are being finalized.
Policy: Missed Exams
If a student misses an exam in any course, for any reason, his First Term result in that course will be worth only 30% of the final mark, the Second Term will be worth 70% (split evenly between term work and the June exam), and he will be required to write the June exam for the course. In addition, a student who misses an exam will not be eligible for the Honour-Roll in Term 1. A medical note may be required for absences during the exam period.
Study Schedules for Grade 9 and 10 Students
The Counseling Department has prepared study schedules for students in grades nine and ten along with suggestions to guide students as they prepare to write mid-year exams. All students received a hardcopy of their grade level study schedule and electronic versions are available below as well as in the Resources section of the Online Community.
